Asaw   10 #1 Posted August 9, 2017 Just a thought .As class 3 mobility scooters are registered for the road? What is the position on them using bus lanes? Just a thought
 Share this content via...
Itrytoplease   10 #2 Posted August 18, 2017 Class 3 vehicles are not allowed on motorways, bicycle tracks or bus/cycle lanes, but are legally allowed on dual carriageways.  http://www.livingmadeeasy.org.uk/scenario.php?csid=
 Share this content via...
IRONMONGER   10 #3 Posted August 20, 2017 Class 3 vehicles are not allowed on motorways, bicycle tracks or bus/cycle lanes, but are legally allowed on dual carriageways. http://www.livingmadeeasy.org.uk/scenario.php?csid=398  You are absolutely correct regarding the bus lane. This law is absolutely ridiculous, can you imagine the situation with an empty bus lane and a mobility scooter in the middle of the main carriageway. Asaw   10 #4 Posted August 27, 2017 I would think that the police would be out sharpish. I was at Heeley Bottom some years ago and a chap in a class 3 scooter was going through the lights with a police escort behind him lights flashing and that was not in a bus lane. Cannot see the problem knock for knock. Cars block pavements but they are not happy when the same happens on the road.
 Share this content via...
