WasThatWise   10 #2 Posted August 9, 2017 Get someone to take it to dump for you, pay someone to take it away, burn it.
 Share this content via...

Gluggy   10 #5 Posted August 9, 2017 If your a council or housing association tenant I'm pretty sure they will / can collect rubbish so many times a year - might be small charge but got to be less than hiring someone.
 Share this content via...
zach   226 #6 Posted August 9, 2017 I recently used the council to remove some large items and bags.  From what I gather, If you're a council or housing association tenant you get one free collection per year then have to pay.  I believe it's open to private owners/tenants but you don't get a freebie.  Best to not take my word 100% but look on the Violia website   It was a trouble free service that they provided. Thanks Hmmm...  ... how about buying a few cheap suitcases from a charity shop and filling them with your rubbish?  Once filled, leave the suitcases beside any car parked on the street outside your house and wait patiently.  It shouldn't be too long before the refuse fairies magic your belongings away, never to be seen again...
