My brother Glenn Brown and his friends John Olroyd and John Langham did their apprenticeships there in the early 60's

Can anyone help me, I was an apprentice at Janson Street 1979 to 1983, does anyone know how I would find out if I had a pension with them. I would be very grateful for any info with regards to this.

Many Thanks

Chris M

Hi Chris,

Hello again CBM. I don't think we had a pension as such until we were posted, but you left early if I remember right.

Hope all is well,

Mark House

I seem to remember that the Admiralty also had a place just off Broad Lane Sheffield 3.

I used to work on Solly Street and walked past it every day.  I can remember wondering why the Navy would have a place in Sheffield.
