Jeremy Corbyn at Glastonbury

Recommended Posts

Have you noticed how most of these liberals and Marxists are living the capitalist lifestyle ? Many with good pensions and early retirement from the public sector, large expensive houses, usually well away from 'diversity', whilst preaching to the rest of us and hiding behind the shut-you-up legislation they are responsible for.

Their mistake is that in silencing opposition ( universities ' No Platform ' policy etc. ), they have pushed debate onto the internet, some of which sites they'd also love to ban...as would the Tories it seems. In the streets, people are having to look around and whisper before discussing many issues. Though not as dangerous, isn't that a little like the position that the French Resistance found themselves in, whispering in cafes, the opposite of freedom of speech and democracy ? In effect, they've put a lid on a pressure cooker and gone out and left the gas on.

.........pretty much spot on!......I know a number of avowed Socialists living the capitalist lifestyle, they don't whinge with envy and wear a badge of false morality like the left on here. They actually enjoy life.

Can you imagine spending a night out with miseries ,Owen Jones and John McDonnell etc.............depression here I come!

I am not wallowing in denial...

The Tories on here are in denial that June 8th was a bad result for May. And also that Corbyn did far better for Labour than anyone predicted. Anyone who argues that it was worth May's while to have an unnecessary election and lose her majority is definitely in denial.

..but not large enough to win the general election!

... but large enough to win Hallam.

I thought they did.

No. They had to pay £1 000 000 000 to complete the win.

A bit like one of those spam emails promising you a free iPhone.

........but still won the election.

The only winner to emerge from that was Jeremy Corbyn. She had a majority, she believed she would win a bigger majority, she lost it altogether. The Conservative supporting media and most of the Parliamentary Labour Party also believed the hype.

May has made a political decision ( DUP) which will prove to be a great error.

If she won why does she look like a scared rabbit and Corbyn's support is growing, and he looks confident and comfortable in his skin whilst she looks pale and haunted.

The Tories won most seats but she is on the way out while Corbyn is getting stronger.

She and her advisors have made a great mistake and will pay the price, a Pyrrhic victory

Corbyn was invited to Glastonbury, May wasn't. He didn't ask if he could give a speech. The wind is starting to blow

The people that I generally speak to when I am out and about, mostly working class people I will add, can't stand the man. As I have said before he appeals to middle class youngsters who go to University not the working class ;)

Yet probably a lot of the same people voted for him. They probably told you what they thought you wanted to hear to placate your ranting indignation.

What happened to the UKIP vote ? Finished

its rather depressing to see to be honest, she looks in a right state at times, and have you noticed that when she is asked a difficult question, she sort of pulls a weird face and takes a sharp intake of breath, as if the question actually hurts her inside, then she goes through all the pre scripted robotic answers that have been programmed into her, how she must wish to have the charisma of Corbyn, yeah all the haters will disagree with that, but it is Corbyn who is speaking to the thousands of people without any fear, whereas May has to have a hand chosen audience..

How she has the nerve to still talk about strong and stable is beyond anyone but the Tory diehards, and even those are starting to lose faith in her, I think the latest opinion polls show that the Tories are something like 5% behind Labour in the polls, but i stand to be corrected..

All her nonsense statements about a magic money tree, and now she finds 1billion from the same tree, you couldn't make it up, all the nonsense about a coalition of chaos, and now we have one, the woman is totally inept and must be the worst MP for decades
