Broken traffic lights

Two broken traffic lights today. Brightside/upwell were not working at all and firshill pedestrian crossing would flick to red on and on giving drivers only few seconds to get through, lots of traffic there.

 

Why don't people just ignore these pedestrian lights when they are clearly broken and keep going red without any pedestrians?

Have you reported these to street force or what ever they call themselves these days

It had been reported hours ago but they don't seem to do anything about it. Ambulance to and from NG were taking alternative routes.

They have 12 hours to fix them once reported

that time scale sounds about right,not to mean I think it is ,as I think 4 hour max

Major junctions are shorter but non essential are 12. Meanwhile Rotherham is 2 hours for all
