K1Machine
Yesterday on a busy Parkway heading into Sheffield my clutch decided to die on me. I got stuck in the middle lane with no safe way of moving the car. People were passing me blasting their horns, giving me the middle finger like I had suddenly decided to stop there intentionally or something. Then a big police BMW rolled up and two nice police officers pushed me and my daughter to the small lay by and to safety. To say we were relived to be out of live traffic is an understatement. I then waited for recovery. Whilst waiting another police car arrived and he got out and asked if we were ok, I explained we had broke down and had been pushed here by other police and recovery was on its way and off he went A huge thank you to the Police for this A big thank you also to the two guys in the black cab who also offered us assistance. True gents all of you
kevvy
Nice to hear something positive about the Police. It's usually just negatives.

lauren84
I never understand why people press horns at stuff like this! Someone did it to me today as I wanted to turn right, the lights were on green and cars were coming in the opposite direction but yet someone thought it meant for me to go! I am glad all ended well and its nice to hear a story like this where people got well needed help
WarPig
You can officially thank those individual officers via the SYP website. I'm sure they would appreciate it.
