Lost out on becoming new home for Channel 4, but got a new TK Max.

Like losing a £20 and finding an old, obsolete 10p.

If Leeds is going to be the headquarters, I would have thought Sheffield might be a bit too close to become a 'Hub.' It makes more sense to spread the hubs out to cover as much of the country as possible.
