citroen999
hi A good friend of mine Ian Toothill has terminal cancer and has been given months to live.He is going to climb Mount Everest for the Macmillan Cancer Trust and try and raise £250,000. Ian is originally from the Manor in Sheffield and went to Hurlfield school and now lives in London. He is a Sheffield Wednesday fan and as a joke he said if any Sheffield United fan donated £1000 he would put The Sheffield United flag on the summit of Mount Everest instead. A Sheffield United fan has called his bluff so now he is going to put the United flag there. You can read the full story in the Sheffield Star. http://www.thestar.co.uk/…/cancer-patient-with-just-months-… Please, if can anyone help with donations, go to his Go Fund Me page as he needs to raise £29,000 in 2 weeks, or even just words of encouragement to help him along this epic journey. The story is currently being followed by Sheffield Star, Yorkshire Post, ITV News and the London Evening Standard. I think he is going on Radio Sheffield tomorrow morning. We need it to go global. C'mon Sheffield, Sheffield United and Wednesday fans lets make this happen, Lets get Sheffield, Sheffield United, Sheffield Wednesday on the global map for a great cause.
