The Sun - shameless scumbags?

Recommended Posts

The Sun are shameless scumbags but anyone with a iota of sense would realise that went out before the atrocity in Manchester.

Chomping right-wing nutjobbery at its worst.

Did he not say this then?

The left-wing MP said: "It's about time we started honouring those people involved in the armed struggle. It was the bombs and bullets and sacrifice made by the likes of Bobby Sands that brought Britain to the negotiating table. The peace we have now is due to the action of the IRA."

Was this in the Sun or Daily Mail per chance.

Sounds a bit odd coming from Someone who won the Gandhi Nobel Peace award in 2013 dont you think.

If that link was kosher they'd be hundreds of comments sticking the boot in. How many comments have been made by DM followers on your link?

Try these:

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2003/may/30/northernireland.devolution

http://www.newstatesman.com/politics/staggers/2015/09/what-did-jeremy-corbyn-s-new-shadow-chancellor-really-say-about-ira

Seems pretty kosher to me.

Shocking - seems both parties have their skeletons!

Have you got any links to The Sun? You seem to be derailing this thread.

Nah, I don't read that rag. I was simply adding some balance to the stories about the Tories containing ex-IRA members.

The further links were to evidence the story that was disputed.

You don't read it but you're happy to back it to the hilt?

The Sun contacted The Canary to request that we update the piece to reflect that The Sun went to print prior to the concert bombing. The paper issued an updated front page subsequently. We’re happy to do so.

The later version of the front page - dead child 'pure'/alleged killer 'evil' could scarcely have been more crassly disrespectful.
