My friend has a Acer laptop and the keyboard isn't working properly some of the keys work but not all of them.We have tried to reset the laptop by clicking the reset button but that hasn't worked. Rimrunner   10 #2 Posted April 29, 2017 similar thing happened to mine new keyboard sorted it, I fitted it myself (fairly easy)and cost me a tenner from ebay (new but not oem). Im sure there will be a youtube vid for your friends model as well so watch that to see if its within your capabilities. This is assuming it is a hardware issue.
