Gas meter help?

Hello first off I am getting a smart meter soon but I was wonder just out of curiosity can anyone tell me roughly how much ive used £ ?

 

My Gas meter reads now 3030 / 6 . previous time I checked it not long ago it was 3000

If its a cubic meter...30 cubic metres = 337kWh. You need to know the price per kWh that you pay. Plus there will be a standing charge (pence per day). The information should be on your last bill.

If you are on a reasonable tarrif, a rough guide is 50 pence per cubic metre.

From the readings you have provided 3030 - 3000 = 30 cubic metres at a cost of around £15.00.

I have managed without one for 50 years, and don't feel the need for one. i don't see the point of running to the meter every time you put the kettle on.
