The LOUDEST Fireworks in Broomhill at the mo

Recommended Posts

Either they've opened a new forge up here or 500 pounds of Semtex is going off. Bizarre.

Can't be fireworks: too damp to bother with.

Any ideas?

They are fireworks, apparently. The misty night sky is faintly lit up. A bit pointless setting 'em off when it's this damp.

I've just seen them from my attick room on Ecclesall Road, very impressive they must have cost a tonne, what are they for?

Netherthorpe, Broomhill, Ecclesall...cheers for being a nuisance for half of Sheffield folks.

I was just about to start a thread asking about them...

Such a pity half of them were swallowed up by the low cloud. My guess is they may have been for one of the halls of residence thereabouts. A ball?

Oh, and hello Ratman!

Actually, I've just spotted a rival thread and it may be Endcliffe Park apparently.

I just heard some noise, assumed it was my neighbour's brats trying to burrow thru the walls.
