Marnie   10 #13 Posted May 12, 2006 Hi There,  One other point to bear in mind in addition to ones already made, is whether the property is leasehold or freehold. If the property you are buying is leasehold, the timescales are longer due to solicitors having to invesigate the lease on the property. How much this adds on depends on what they find.
