Guest makapaka   #337 Posted February 7, 2017 Why? Do you think women should shut up and do what they're told? Do you think all Mexicans are rapists and all Muslims are terrorists? Do you despise intellectuals? Do you think white people are somehow better than everyone else? Do you think stupidity is a virtue?  ---------- Post added 07-02-2017 at 06:06 ----------   If 'true men' are self obsessed, arrogant tossers who think women should stay in the bedroom and the kitchen and are congenital liars, sure.  This is part of the problem with people at the minute.  You've exaggerated all those statements to try to prove your point so it's lost effect.  Too many people just like to have something to be outraged about.  I wasn't pleased trump was elected and I don't think it's a good thing, but the weird demonisation of him is equally dangerous. People comparing him to hitler and the like - crazy.
 Share this content via...

People comparing him to hitler and the like - crazy.  The reason people compare him to Hitler is because the parallels are striking.  Just do a side by side comparison of the circumstances leading up to their election and start to understand the slight murmurings of concern.  Comparing the manner and political climate of how he was elected to Hitler does not say he is going to act like Hitler. It's absolutely nothing like the rise of Hitler in 1930's Germany.  I think it's really important people give this some real thought as silly statements just feed into the hands of those that got Trump in in the first place.  It's just fuelling the fire. harvey19 Â Â 541 #347 Posted February 7, 2017 (edited) No. The majority of Americans did not vote for Trump and are not in favour of his policies. Â Was the electoral system different to what had been used in other presidential elections ? Just because of protests by a few does not mean the majority of Americans do not support his policies.
