Kelham Island bang on trend

Recommended Posts

Kelham Island? That's more trolley pushing beer ticker than actual hipster if you ask me. Personally I'd say that Leeds offers more for the hipster.

I work near there and there certainly seems to be a lot more businesses appearing in the area. And there are the new dwellings being built at the old Green Lane Works.

I think that if there was ever a progression war between Sheffield & Leeds.....Leeds has won that battle.

So Sheffield needs to find its own identity. What that it is i dont know.

The city centre might look as if it's dying on its feet, but according to this Sheffield is hipster central . . . Not sure what that says about the rest of the UK though!

Well deserved. I reckon "best kept secret" is part of the appeal, and why it beat Manchester's NQ.

That was a brilliant place a few years back, but is now hectic and full of stags and hens and large groups.

Here's the list:

Agreed, that shot is more towards Millsands with the old Manchester on the right, and the Riverside just out of view.(it is called Millsands isn't it?)
