Might I suggest that trying to debate with "primitivisti" is pointless ?

I don't know whether he's a good businessman or not. I do know that he's a ignorant oaf.

He inherited loads of New York real estate from his dad, the value of which rocketed and from which he made a lot of money. Not exactly rags to riches, he seems to pretty much owe it to his dad. Who in turn benefitted from generous government-funded house building programmes. Now his son is cutting those same programmes, to which he owes pretty much all his wealth.

His record as a businessman is easy to examine. He's a disastrous destroyer of wealth and businesses. He would be richer now if he'd simply invested his money in the stock market when young (inherited money) and then done nothing. Instead, he has actively been destroying his wealth for many years.

I would be very surprised if Trump ever resigned. This man has no shame, and a totally mis-calibrated view of what others think of him.

It is wonderful to realise how successful, people are on this forum. I thought bankrupt meant you loose your money, even if you inherited a pile from one's father?

The rest of your post was a load of hoohaa.

But I am guessing his company declared bankruptcy not him, he wouldn't have lost his own money.

Quite....guessing is a favorite game where one speculates to a degree that one can actually believe it as a truth and then it becomes a fact.

People are not interested in facts, they are interested in emotional content, making them feel something hence the slavish regurgitation of media messages parroted by those also guessing, and believing a guess is a fact.

Its what the lynch mob fraternity do, makes a change from discussing the merits of female physical potential, the mainmasts real choice of speculations, over a drink or two.. Talking about subjects one know little about is SOOOO grown up ...innit!!

Are you high or something?

I believe he is at least medicated. His former Alta ego whose name I cannot quite remember was far less lucid.

Erebus?

So you don't know how bankruptcy works but decided to talk about it. Innit.

And turns out I was right, his companies declared bankruptcy not him so he gets to keep his daddy's cash.

I believe what he did was for his co investors to hold the debt, but not himself or his company. But nevertheless he held the majority of the shares. However when the casino operations collapsed, he was fireproof, the other shareholders took the debt hit. He had no personal financial guarantees in the deal

How would he convince his co shareholders to carry all the debt while he held most of the shares with no liability ? Especially with his reputation.

I don't think he is for resigning either. We will have to wait and see what the FBI probe brings relative to the Russia connection.

So, this afternoon, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes told reporters that he has seen reports from the U.S. intelligence community that showed communication from members of President Trump's transition team — and possibly from the president himself — were incidentally collected as part of a broader surveillance effort.

None of it relates to Russia but does relate to a "foreign intelligence"

This could get interesting.
