Brighton & Hove Albion v Sheffield Wednesday 20/01/17

Recommended Posts

Now this will be a tough match....you'd think Brighton will want to turn Wednesday over after the play off result last season....but Wednesday are no mugs as proved at Newcastle and in the current League run of one defeat in nine and one goal conceded in six games...(who was it who said Wednesday's defence would be our downfall this season..hmm....was it the same person who said we'd get hammered at Newcastle..?)

It would make things interesting if we could get a win...but i'd take a point quite happily.

Its interesting to note folks still not forgiving something that happened in 1983. before the 2016 play-off semi v briighton folks were saying the same thing, so i assumned the revenge was obtained ? Since many predictions/fears here turn out wrong, looks like we're a gonna win it. You have to believe.

9 points plus a brighton win plus win their game in hand=15 points

They finished 15 points in front of us last season. Yet we beat them in the play offs.

And we all know points plus potentially beating us plus game(s) in hand don't always work out...

For the record I think Brighton will go up automatically this season. An excellent side who have really learnt from last season
