taxman   12 #61 Posted January 2, 2017 Thanks for the reply. It seems ridiculous though you cant park on a double yellow but you may be able to simply park it on the pavement instead without committing an offence.  A few months ago I was forced to dodge a 4by4 that was parking on the pavement near ponds forge which is an area many seem to park.  But then they run the risk of a broken wing mirror or a keying.
