Corsa Owners Beware!

Recommended Posts

Hi all, I'm new to this forum but I'd just like to warn people about the front end of cars being stolen in the Hillsborough area. This includes Lights + fittings + bumpers + grills.

If anyone else has experienced this or knows someone affects please share.

Thanks.

Loads were done at a Wednesday match a few months ago ...one was a high performance sports corsa.

Its happening to lots of Corsas in Sheffield. They must be easy to remove, thus creating a black market?

They are easy to remove when people crash them - that's why they get pinched.

Landrover headlamps were the same as well as they just pulled off. Then owners, well some unscrupulous ones started glueing razors to the back of them and they stopped getting swiped...

At the risk of stating the obvious...

... Corsas tend to be the choice of the younger driver, who may (or may not) be susceptible to accidentally damaging their chosen mode of transport through their exuberant driving techniques.

These same drivers may (or may not) also be deficient in monetary funds to cover such an eventuality, but may (or may not) have access to a suitable screwdriver and a socket wrench... :suspect:

Due to the number of corsa zmashed up it means that these parts are in short supply second hand so prices are at premium for parts available and many dont have the parts hence the thefts. Its a case of supply and demand

High performance and Vauxhall corsa are 2 words not meant to be in the same descriptive sentence, it's like saying "fast tortoise"...

It was indeed a risk.

Its a common crime committed by organised groups. Corsa's are one of the most popular, just google corsa cannibals.
