nuttycow13   10 #1 Posted November 28, 2016 CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL  St James will once again be holding our Christmas Tree festival over the weekend of Friday 2nd December to Monday 5th December. Last year was a fantastic weekend where our community came together and the church looked wonderful for the whole of the advent and Christmas decked out with Christmas trees and art work from our local schools. We know this year will be even better.  Thursday 1st December – Church will be open for decoration: If you would like to contribute a tree to the display please call Jean Down on 0114 2693674 – donations welcome from those displaying a tree.  Friday 2nd December – Woodhouse Prize Band concert  Doors open 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start Tickets cost £5 and are available by calling 0114 2451142, via their website or on the door  Saturday 3rd December – St James Christmas Fair  11.00am – 2.00pm Stalls, raffles, cakes and drinks & freshly cooked hot dogs If you would like a stall at the fair please contact Jean Dowd on 0114 2693674 and a donation for the hire of the table would be welcome  Sunday 4th December – All Age Service & Buskers afternoon  10.30am All Age Service – all welcome  3.00pm Buskers group and Christmas Buffet  Please put these dates in your diary and it would be great to see you at all or any of these events as we enter the advent period and the run up to Christmas.
