Rustling Road trees are being felled right now

Recommended Posts

Tomorrow morning will be an interesting one on Toby's program Sheffield Council will be giving their first proper interview regarding the felling of those trees in Rustlings Road so fireworks can almost be guaranteed with our Toby calling them to account.

that show will be a joke , no answers will be given

nah, Our Tobias will give' em hell.

Either he will get answers out of the council, or he'll make them look incompetent and foolish.

It'll be an exercise in brushing his own ego as per usual.

I've said it before and I'll say it again; if you're daft enough to be interviewed on his comedy show, you deserve all the punishment you get :)

I remember years ago when I was a kid that we were called the socialist republic of south yorkshire. I see nothing has changed. They (SCC) will do what they want, and if they cant get their way legitimately they will do it underhandedly. They will do exactly what they want at spider park aswell, and, again, ruin a beautiful place.

As an aside, for the posters that always for some reason have to have a go at anyone living in the west side of the city, it seems like they are getting some kind of kick out of any distress this causes, rather than looking at the conservation of our city. I would be devastated and disgusted by this no matter where in our city this had been.

Sorry mods but why can't I congratulate SCC on a job well done? Bit unfair that isn't it! :(

As far as I'm concerned it was a job well done.

A good read.

Ive been up round the back of Endcliffe park this morning, and its good to see south yorkshire police have such vast resources they can afford to have four riot vans and three cars ,along with at least 20 coppers ( thats just the ones i counted )all sat there drinking tea doing nowt.

Sadly, the voters in sheffield will continue to vote for these incompetent morons at the next elections.

Yep.

-

They let off the arrested people - almost certainly because the people who had to do the work, rather than make the decisions where probably too embarrassed. I would be.

I also can't blame the Amey workers, it's not their fault either.

-

I've seen a few posts agreeing with it, and fair enough. I also agree with a few to be chopped down, like I said in the Sandford Grove thread...

but this, today was nothing short of scandalous. Sneaky ********.

It's a hope that the towed away vehicles don't get charged for this too.

I blame SCC entirely.

lemme guess . . . was it Cleggy ?

He looked dashing on Calendar this evening

How would an MP run the council precisely? Also - it was Labour that signed the deal.

Yes, you have to wonder where we're at when our own council see the people that really care about this city as their enemies!

The way it's treated ordinary people is appalling. As usual nobody's opinion matters but their own.

They wouldn't have planned this for the middle of the night and arranged such a heavy police presence if they weren't in the wrong.

A sad day for Sheffield :(
