Blades owner invests..

Recommended Posts

Corrected, thanks for your input!

Thanks, I really didn't understand it because of the missing 's'.

The fact is, McCabe has lost money through United. Yes that is right, it is a fact.

But enough about that, this is about Scarborough Group pushing money into a great project in Sheffield.

Hopefully this will be ploughed into United so you may reap reward of McCabe's enterprise!

What investments has he made a lately? are you really that dim to think that the football club wasn't used to prop his ailing business?

The point is you criticise him for having outside business interests, which is what normal people in the real world have. How do you think he made money in the first place? You fail to make the connection that perhaps if he makes money elsehwere then it puts him in a stronger position.

It seems your only reason to criticise him engaging in his day job is because he is a Blade and you are a Wednesdayite. It is all a bit moronic by you because your rationale is flawed.

I think Blades fans are pretty happy at the moment, just seems like petty jealousy from you.

If unitedites still are happy to see there owner invest in projects to the detriment of there club, crack on!

Clearly you are saying the fact he is conducting business elsewhere is to the detriment of United ile critcising him. That appears to be the whole point of the thread.

It's things like this why the city can't progress

A retail investment turns into a immature squabble about who has the best soccer team

Which is a nonsense. A discussion on a message board has no bearing on the retail investment. o claim otherwise is ridiculous. Have you even bothered to read the thread?

:hihi:

To be fair, this thread started life in the footy section where facts and logic are an inconvenience, and it had no real purpose other than it was just another pathetic attempt to wind up United fans.

Unfortunately for the OP, the thread got moved to a wider audience in the discussions section and is now being taken 'seriously'...

In the football area, baiting name calling like 'wendy, blunts' etc results in suspensions as it's a wind up for the fans. Any further continuation will result in suspensions in this thread.

Maybe, for once, the football can be left to one side and a proper discussion on the investment could happen...

Under-used, not exactly welcoming, empty wasteground where Dyson House (I think) used to stand, it would be nice to see a high quality redevelopment similar in feel to Howard Street, Tudor Square etc
