Futures Red   11 #2 Posted November 7, 2016 Another Sheffield double long may they continue.  Yes long may it continue. I think the tides are turning. We've got that momentum now and are finally on the up. We just need to be mindful of not taking our foot of the gas... I don't think Chris wilder will allow it though. I love the winning culture we've got and long may it continues.  I've been sensing Wednesday have not been right since the season kicked off and if wouldn't surprise me if they end up bottom half. Too many players who think its just about them. There looks to be cracks within the squad.  The tables are certainly turning. It was only a matter of time I guess. blackydog   40 #3 Posted November 7, 2016 Obviously can't say I'm sorry for Wednesday, but the incident with Forestieri seems to have knocked them out of kilter. They are known slow starters though both in games and the season, so don't rule out a late season charge. Also makes the no show for the play off final that more painful if they don't get a second chance this season.
 Share this content via...

Starlc   11 #5 Posted November 8, 2016 (edited) Personally Can't see us making the playoff final this year if we even make the playoffs, but there is still a long way to go yet so don't rule us out for the playoffs or promotion, also don't rule the blades out to "just miss out" as they are specialists at it ! blackydog   40 #6 Posted November 8, 2016 I think your comments are spot on..  I hope you mean that Sheridan, as it was really a reply to the blades earlier in the post. It is my honest view without trying to have a dig. Even the play off final, after all the hard work to then freeze or whatever happened on the day. Couldn't believe my eyes tbh.  ---------- Post added 08-11-2016 at 13:46 ----------  Personally Can't see us making the playoff final this year if we even make the playoffs, but there is still a long way to go yet so don't rule us out for the playoffs or promotion, also don't rule the blades out to "just miss out" as they are specialists at it !  Not much different to last season at this stage for you lot. Can't remember when Forestieri started to blossom last season but he needs to get his act together before too long. Noticed that Carlos is getting more stick on PorG now about his reluctance / ability to have a plan "B". As for the Blades, we are firing on all cylinders at present and likely there will be a blip, but Wilder has shown he can quickly respond to make positive changes, even when he was under some pressure. I would say you don't need to be concerned for us this season.
 Share this content via...

Concentrate on your first "sniff" of form in 5 years. And as for not turning up in playoffs, we must have learnt from the best !!! Never used to care what you lot got up to really. it was the actions of a certain local Wednesday fan that changed my view following Wolves play off final. (when we didn't turn up!)
