Lee Family History

HI, looking up family for a friend doing his family history relating to the surname Lee. There are 7 family members. All originate from Wortley, Chapeltown sort of areas. Fanny born 1887, Frank born 1892, George W born 1878, Harry born 1899, Arthur born 1885, Fred born 1875 and John W lee. We have managed to get some family details for Fred and John W, but are struggling with the rest. Anyone help?

Thanks Rivelin, my maiden name is LEE, family were from Eckington and Mosborough.

 

The only connection I have to Ecclesfield is Esau LEE from Mosbro at one time was the parish clerk and ran the George and Dragon in Ecclesfield.

Hi, Thanks for your help here. We have come a bit further forward with one stem:

John W Lee married Sarah A Denman 1985 in Wortley. They had four children: John Lawson Lee, Herbert Lee, Fanny Lee, Clement R Lee.

John Lawson Lee Born 1899 married 1925 Mary Wastnedge and they had four children: Lawson Born 1927, John Born 1926, Trevor B1929 and Herbert Born 1931. Can anyone help here?

Lawson Lee born 1927 married Betty M Birkhead in 1954. He died in 1993. I can't find any children

Herbert Lee born 1931 Married 1953 Jessie Marriott, we think they had a son called Robert.

Was this Betty M Birkhead or Jessie M Birkhead?

Robert LEE (mother's maiden name MARRIOTT). birth registered in Wortley JUN Qtr 1953. There is also a Janet LEE registered in Wortley in MAR Qtr 1958, with mmn MARRIOTT.
