Tim1 Â Â 10 #14 Posted October 30, 2016 I fell asleep at 10pm last night. Woke up 3am nipped for a wee and let the cat out, changed all the clocks including the oven lol. Well except the wall clock in the bedroom! Fell back asleep. Woke up and started to get ready to go for breakfast at McDs. Thought it was 9am so set off. It was 8am lol. horribleblob   212 #17 Posted October 30, 2016 Although the clocks go back, I carry on as if they haven't. So, for example, instead of working 9–5, I'll work 8–4. (I realise not everyone is able to do this.)  Unless I'm having to do something in the middle of the night or early hours, I don't use an alarm but rely on my trusty internal clock to get me up in the morning and, like Bodie (post #3), go to bed when I'm tired, not at a set time. Isabelle   10 #20 Posted October 31, 2016 yep - unfortunately the dogs don't understand the clocks going back and still wanted to play/eat at 'nomal' time  I have woken my dog up when I got up at 6.30am for the last week, the dark mornings seem to have confused him into sleeping longer. Waldo   96 #23 Posted October 31, 2016 The normal 1.30 as clock changes don't happen till 2am  Yep, so 1:30am happens twice that night. I wonder if there's an official way to differentiate between the two 1:30's? Anyone know?
 Share this content via...
