Williams fasteners closes doors

Recommended Posts

It was a sad day yesterday at 4pm Williams fasteners ceased trading. I wish all my fellow workers good luck for the future.

What reasons have been given for the closure Phil? I`m guessing the closure of the surrounding steel plants may have played a part. I think Williams used to supply the stores at the Avesta stainless plant on Shepcote Lane.

Me too. If Williams Bros didn't sell it, it was because nobody made it.

Is it just the Sheffield bit or the whole organisation that has finished?
