Blue Day 10 #1 Posted October 6, 2016 Anyone recommend any? I've got a Tag Heur about 10 years old that's in need of a service and clean, it's been stopping recently. Been quoted £100 from a shop in Hillsborough which seems steep for a watch worth about £500 when it was new.
 Share this content via...

Cuey 10 #6 Posted October 6, 2016 That doesn't sound unreasonable. Tag usually quote £200 to £400 dependant on the movement. There's a lot involved in a proper service.
 Share this content via...
Lancs_Lad 10 #7 Posted October 7, 2016 Watch hospital have quoted me half the price of anyone else for replacing a clasp on an Omega watch that's 20 years old. The "shop in Hillsborough" quoted £175 and a shop in Commonside wanted £200.
 Share this content via...

Operationpig 10 #9 Posted October 8, 2016 Do not bring it to the jewelers on Sicey ave firth park, I once ad an expensive watch, brought it to him for a new battery and when I came to collect it he said it fell to bits and he couldn't put it back together, gave it me back in bits. took it somewhere else and they fixed his mess up with a new battery. Ableton 10 #10 Posted October 9, 2016 It will just be the battery. My Tag was doing it last week. £50 lifetime battery fitted and pressure tested at Timpsons did the trick
 Share this content via...
