And from experience DLA/PIP and ESA have been increasingly restricted to mental health clients in the homeless sector.
 Share this content via...

From my experience ESA and PIP have become increasingly difficult for anyone to be successful in claiming. The lack of a permanent address can make evidencing care need and provision difficult although I do know of one person who was successful and got Carer’s Allowance for a fellow homeless person
 Share this content via...

How would they prove they are actively seeking work if they are on the streets?  Most homeless people are in some sort of temporary accommodation.  https://england.shelter.org.uk/housing_advice/homelessness/rules/what_is_homelessness  They are still classed as homeless - people living on the streets are rough sleepers. Cyclone   10 #1880 Posted June 10, 2019 Are you assuming that it's homeless but accomodated people who are begging and not rough sleepers (who most likely aren't claiming benefits)?
 Share this content via...

Have you read any of the many stories in the press about delays in paying benefit or benefits being sanctioned - or any of this thread prior to posting on it?
