Grahamfff Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 I have a TiVo box at home and am trying to record a show remotely using the VirginMedia iPhone app. I'm getting an error message saying I can't do this because the phone and Tivo aren't on the same wifi network. Yet, I am sure I've done this when I'm away from home. Is this something that I should be able to do or not? Thanks

I can understand that I would have to do that to make it work, bt the odd thing is that I'm sure I have managed to get it to work previously. woah Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Just get a pair of powerline adapters, available from Argos/Currys/Maplin/online for about £20. Saves running lots of cable up two floors!
