please note we have just acquired a fantastic pair of fire eaters prior to our lighting of the bonfire that's now in a new space ,giving extra space for the funfair,outside bar and extra hotfood and of course the spectacular sensational pyrotechnic fire work display and with free entry ect,ect don't miss this great event put it in the diary now 6pm start.

what rides are going

hi the funfair operator farrars are as we are at this moment putting 4 small rides,2 large rides,stalls,extra catering stalls and adding to the list as it goes,but will use the extra hard standing that's part of the new site plan,unfortunatly the grass area is to wet to expand further ,but the bonfire is now in new area,thus leaving more room and the

pyrotechnic fireworks are going in the right hand field at the end of the drive and a further outside bar in that area,please note this event is run by several groups as announced ,BUT the event on the night and all final decisions,staff,stewards are the Sheffield transport ground workers and there decision is final,but I hope this new larger areas work and hope you and many others enjoy it as many hundreds have in the past and like the new improvements thank you for your enquiry and sorry I cannot answer it exactly.

yeah good to hear lets hope it becomes a big event as afterdark is very pricey and nothing other really for people to go to thats a decent size

Thanks for that nice comment,we have grown over several years,pooled our cash as several organisations,got louis haigh mp who has donated personal cash and the council all working together to make it free as normally events like this have a entry fee,and its refreshing for everyone to be behind such a huge event and we thank sheffield transport ground for there support and contribution,so come along and enjoy beer/lager only £3 a pint so even thats at a sensible price,so dont forget 6pm-10pm bar until 11pm thanks

hi its the same old problem every year,but with free facepainting,magic shows by barney baloney free,free punch judy shows,fire -eaters to watch,a disco and a bonfire

to light and THE GBL DANCERS,its a lot to see from 6-9pm,never mind the funfair that people enjoy,so we took advice from the biggest most successful after dark ,who do theres at 9pm,then we have to think of people traveling and getting home from work,so that's how we decided 9pm ,but this year even though its still free entry we have got pyrotechnic fireworks which are better than we have ever had before and you never normally get at a free entry event thanks for your comment and accept our timetable but we will same as everyone else ever satisfy everones times thanks.

It's nearly bonfire time at Sheffield Transport Sports Club!!! 6pm on Friday will see our 6th annual bonfire event...and this year it will be bigger and better than ever!!!! our bonfire is huge ( no room for any more wood now...sorry!) our fireworks will be spectacular...this year for the first time we have a professional pyrotechnic display. There will also be extra bar space...with 2 extra bottle bars and an extra draught bar outside!!!! This event is a celebration of the brilliant community we have around S8 and is supported by local tenants and residents associations. A massive thank you to everyone who has contributed their time, effort and financial donations to make this event possible....everyone has really pulled together and we are sure it will be a fantastic night!!!

The event is totally free admission, everyone is welcome, but any donation you may wish to make towards our next years event will be very gratefully received in the collection buckets available...every penny helps.

Enjoy yourselves, keep safe as always...please don't bring any personal fireworks with you, enjoy those at home...we always put safety as our number one priority!
