rogets Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 'Still by nature a Premiership club' says who ? I've been watching football since 1957 and they have always been ordinary and what have they ever won ( yes League Cup v Arsenal) . The best side they had was in the early '70s when Trevor Francis and Bob Latchford etc were there and they weren't up to much then ! You poke a domestic dog with a stick and the dog will attack the stick You poke a wolf with a stick and the wolf will attack the person holding the stick
stpetre Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 You poke a domestic dog with a stick and the dog will attack the stick You poke a wolf with a stick and the wolf will attack the person holding the stick Yes rogets, have to agree with that and a similar quote (this time about a sleeping dog) by Admiral Yamamoto, after learning the outcome of the attack on Pearl Harbor, but that's another story and thank you !

Hotmale 1954 Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 How the Hell can we be so good for the first 30 minutes, and as bad as the S2 lot for the remainder? Our anticipation in the final third is nearly always half a yard short. We're a great footballing side, but CC has to do summat about our defensive qualities. I'm not moaning really, I like the players we've got, I like the football we play. I like the effort and the heart. I'm not a good enough analyst to know what caused our loss of domination, but I hope Carlos is. What should have been a comfortable win ended up a sickening result. Maghoma didn't do too bad. He was one of their better players. Ah well, upwards and onwards.
