I was at the the gym and it just happened so fast. Gutted

 

Reminded in of that scene in World of the World with Tom Cruise

 

 

agree with the war of the worlds thing. where we are sky went black, then followed very high winds ,trees were bending and leaves blowing all over . few lightening flashes then all went calm with not a drop of rain . I actually said to my daughter that it was like War of the worlds

Over parson cross we were sat on the front when from behind the house wall of swirling black clouds came over us, my other half has a brilliant video of what looks like the start of a funnel but it starts to head down then shoots back up! Very large hail stones as well. Crazy weather over towards Oughtibridge it's just a wall of constant lightening.

Massive storm here in Birdwell at present. Constant thunder and lightening, big hailstones, fierce wind and torrential rain !

That was an intense storm. Stood at the window watching it until the hail stones started....never seen anything like that before.
