1956 Porche spider sold for over £4.5 million yesterday..

A rare original-not restored 1956 Porche 550RS spider went through Bonhams yesterday (10.09.16) and fetched over four and a half million pounds.

 

Described by Bonhams as, “what is considered to be the world's best-preserved, never restored example of this seminal Porsche model surviving today”

It's a pretty safe investment, and of course tax free.

I don't know how good an investment though, once storage costs and insurance are deducted.

 

When I have 4.5 million to invest I might consider it.
