I would think 50-60 quid for a good Old Country Roses set, and 25-35 for the Crown Ming. But I am not an expert. It has always puzzled me why they

are not more collected. One day they might come back into vogue.

They are not quick sellers, so you may want to take a chance on evilBay, or possibly one of the antiques/second hand centres may have a trader willing to sell on a commission basis. If you sell to a dealer you will be disappointed with the price I think.

Mostly, people want the odd cup or saucer to replace broken ones, they will pay more just to get oddments but that doesn't help you selling a full set.

Split it and eBay the whole set item by item. There is a whole world of teaset freaks out there, looking to replace a broken cup or saucer. You will make far more by selling the set in bits.

Not 100% true. I am a "tea set freak" as you call us and would certainly pay more for a set then individual pieces which you can and I have found in charity shops for a few £s per piece. This way you can ensure in a set most items are of the same used or unused state and not have to mess about searching for odd bits to match. Not to mention most sets have serial numbers on the bottom of each piece.
