Yeah will be nice to have him fully fit after his injury for certain. Just another prong to our fantastic strike force! What with Billy Sharp Already on 4 goals and one assist, we are looking perfectly equipped up top.....Very exciting indeed. He came on yesterday in the second half and he looked very lively. green_man Posted September 11, 2016 Author Posted September 11, 2016 But does Wilder change a winning side to fit him in.3 games won since he stubbed his toe. The fact that he has come on in the second half of the games shows that he still heavily features in the managers plans and his performances as sub haven't harmed him the in slightest. He is the sort of player who forces his way back into the managers plans at the end of the day and let's face it, if Sharp and Done keep hammering in goals then who cares. He's a top striker and he will be in there, he won't warm a bench all season. ---------- Post added 12-09-2016 at 11:57 ---------- Few goals and a win. Shame to see we are still conceding on a regular basis. Forwards.both scoring too. The last 3 games have not only been wins for us, but Bolton have also drawn in each of these games, enabling us to close 6 points from the top of the league. Top half of the table now and climbing quickly. Long may it continue It is even more so when the opposition don't really deserve a foot hold back in the game! At the point when they scored the first we have been dominating and possibly had a slight lull in our attacking but never the less Wimbledon weren't a threat in the slightest. Suddenly the ball goes through after a bit of pinballing around out of the box, the player then somehow manages to ride the tackle and get the ball in the box. You have to give credit to Poleon for the finish though, he was MOTM for a pooor Wimbledon team. The second goal is probably more disappointing because it should have been avoided. A decent set piece that shouldn't have been a set piece now I have seen it on TV....Anyway slack marking really as the big man slipped round the back, unmarked to slot it away.....Poor marking really, switched off momentarily and we need to stop that because we get punished. Should have been a handsome win and a clean sheet if truth be said.
