Elite Land Rover Specialists. Anyone used them?

Heyup Everyone,

 

Looking at someone to sort rear brake pipes on my L322 Range Rover. Looking for a decent garage who knows what they are doing on these beasts.

 

I live up S35 so anywhere near this will be appreciated.

They have a good reputation and used to work for Doug Dransfield.

 

I doubt you have anything to worry about. They know their land rovers inside out.

Head off to Chesterfield, and use Cavendish Motors, off Storforth Lane, ok, it is nowhere near S35 but they are pretty good.

Cavendish are excellent too, but an hour from s35, as opposed to 10 minutes

Strange how you are more interested in what he drives rather than the name of the Land Rover specialist?

 

Unless something has been deleted - you asked for the name of a Land Rover specialist and this guy didn't answer that at all. He just said, "my father in law uses them". Who FFS?

I live nearer to Sheffield than Chesterfield but there's not much in it. I take my Land Rover down to DLS at Wirksworth (near Matlock) because they've been very very good. I've used them for years - but it's a hell of a trek from S35 to there. It's a good 50 minutes from here too - but I think they are worth it.

 

However, I may well give Cavendish a go as it's much nearer.

I'm sure you've misread it pal. My question was has anyone used the above. The guy replied his FIL uses them so that means they have 1 customer at the bare min. I only asked what car as i wasnt sure if they were more geared towards defenders etc.

 

Seen quite a few Shoguns with the DLS cover on the back. Heard of Cavendish before but when your avg mpg is just about hitting double figures its not worth the drive haha. Plus i dont have the time to travel 1hr for jobs to be done.

Ive just bought a Range Rover 4.2 Supercharged :-)

We had a P38 2.5DSE which we owned for 3years.

 

Series 2a. What engine is in that? 2.25?
