Stoke are making some exciting moves, Wilfried Bony and Bruno Martins Indi, two top class players for the PL.

Joe Hart, astonishingly in my opinion, gets unceremoniously dumped by Man City and moves to Torino (which is not Juventus...).

Roma, Palace and Bournemouth after Wilshere, could Hart be joined by another current England player in Italy?

But the biggest news, in my opinion anyway, is that summer transfer spending for England is set to break through the ridiculously insane amount of 1Bn.

Joe has not adapted to the system that the new manager wants to play. He was made captain for the home leg of the Champions League qualifying match last week so he could salute the fans of the club. He is now on a season long loan at Torino.

A strange way for a club to 'unceremoniously dump' a player isn't it?

Well, perhaps 'unceremoniously dumped' is a bit strong, but Bravo and Caballero, are you happy with those two options? City is meant to compete at the highest level, Hart, in my opinion, was a player suited to that. Bravo is largely untested and lost the battle with Ter Stegen pretty conclusively.

Hart was an integral part of the City squad that became champion in 2014, is still relatively young for a keeper and the first choice for England. I think it is a huge over-reaction by Guardiola to ditch him.

It's not a matter of my being happy at this point. The new manager has had great success and knows more about the game and his players than either of us so I am happy to place my faith in his decisions.

Yes I am aware of this.

He has not adapted to the system that Guardiola wants to use so he needs to draft in a goalkeeper who can play that system. In the meantime Joe Hart is on a season long loan at another club. He has not been ditched.

That is more to do with the new tv rights- for this season money being mentioned is £5bn, with clubs getting £30-£50m this season.

Who said money has killed the game..

It's a wake up call for Wilshere. Going from Arsenal to Bournmouth or Palace? That's going to get your attention; it would be good to see him at Roma, to see how he goes in Serie A.

David Luiz has gone back to Chelsea! The return of sideshow Bob. Conte obviously rates him higher defensively than Mourinho did, but chelsea have made a nice profit on the deal anyway.

If Bony can get back to where he was at Swansea, Stoke will be well happy.

Not sure what else Guardiola could have done as Hart's gone to a top European club. Hart is one of those players who have just made one or two mistakes too many, usually at key moments. He's also had more than enough opportunities at England level and personally I'll be glad to see the back of him.

Luiz...amazed that Chelsea brought him back but what do I know!

Wilshere...totally overrated

I think Wilshere is a good player, but he hasn't kicked on in the last few years because he's always injured. I read a bit since that since he made his first team debut he's missed 150+ games through injury. Be interesting to see if he stays clear of injury for the rest of the season.

If I was wilshire I'd have moved heaven and earth to get to Leicester. Hardly any of their players suffered long term injuries last season and they all bust a gut every game. You have to ask how and why?
