Shogun   10 #14 Posted July 29, 2016 Just change the pads..some makes of pads seem to get hot and they seem to turn into like a sort of hard surface that grinds on the discs like metal on metal,had that fault loads of times, heavy braking and running down hills with your foot constantly on the brake pedal over heats them,try pressing the brakes on off as you come down a hill or up to a stop,that way the brakes don't overheat as much,I had that fault on one of my cars the pads were quite new but the sound coming from the brakes was like the pads were down to metal,on inspection they looked good everything seem ok with the brakes did the usual things but the noise was still there as soon as I changed the pads for new ones the grinding noise went.
