So does this mean that the Central Libraries and Art Gallery are now safe from being turned into a Chines hotel ... have Sheffield council come to their senses and realised that these are actually good facilities for the local community  over some wealthy chinese business man ?

Oh I do hope so!   Avoid everything Chinese..   Rubbishy cheap goods, yukky bland food!    No thanks.

Can I reccommend that people attend some of the monthly Council meetings (you sit in the public gallery to observe, but you can also table questions to be asked.) It's a revelation. You can see why nothing ever seems to get done in Sheffield. . .

And someone manages to use massively overbroad stereotypes to disparage 2 billion people.

I see that "Little Sheffield " has now lost it's identity for China Town, our council would sell its soul to the devil, that's if it has a soul.

Isn't the new build at the other side of the roundabout from Decathlon the first part of it?

What exactly is that, the hoardings promised all sorts of delights, it looks like a drab office block with a few small (empty) shop units beneath it.

Your house will be full of Chinese goods, so you may say you agree, reality is different.
