Thanks  Take a look at the Stagecoach, http://www.megabus.com website.  Weekends in August you can travel from Sheffield to Bristol for a ridiculous £1.  Granted to journey time is a couple of hours more etc however you usually get a quick break half way for 10-15 mins to stretch your legs and well it's only a quid....  (The £1 fare is based on travelling on the 13th August 2016 and seems to be a standard for booking this far in advance. You could book for this weekend or next but due to the short notice, prices for this soon are set at £20).
