Match day prices wednesday v villa

Recommended Posts

And if the day villa fans can boycott the match if they don't like the price, as can any owls fans (I know I won't be there at that price). Problem is not enough will like the first game last season so he will keep doing it. That said there were more than enough 20/25 quid games last season to make up for it so I'm not too bothered about not being able to make it.

There should be a cap on away tickets though as it's not fair having to pay those prices aswell as travel costs etc

Villa when they played against us [sunderland} last season they were a Category B team which meant it was £26-£28 a ticket.Category A £32-£36 for the Mancs ,Scousers and the Mags.Think that owner of yours is a rip off merchant just like him up the road at Sid James Park .

Price of tickets for our game against the Smoggies 21st August £27 cheapest £35 dearest. Not bad considering we are playing a small team from Yorkshire who want us to be a local derby .

For all the talk of boycotting the games..and "doing fans over" due to the cost of the tickets...both Aston Villa and Sheffield United have sold out of their initial allocations for the opening fixture this weekend.

Fair play to Villa fans...Sunday afternoon at 4.30pm...Match being televised live on Sky..£42/ticket and 4,000 tickets sold...

Obviously more money than sense...!!

A pint of John Smiths in the local near us costs £3-50 p and it then goes down the drain:hihi:

There is always someone who will pay the asking price, no matter what the product on offer is, just a fact of life.

Is it true that when the 40th minute comes, all the Villa fans are going to get out of their seats and leave the stadium?

A good way to let the board know they aren't happy to pay inflated prices?

Disgusting price, however I can see the business sense in it.............We now have about 20k season ticket holders.

Many of these in previous years would've been the walk up fans. Also with membership (albeit £50) a fan can get the Villa game for £32 which Chansiri will view as fair.

After this group of fans there are then few fans who'll pay anyway given it is on sky so the powers that be will probably think this group will come whether they charge £25 or £42.
