I watched this last night. I've just started thinking about the following.

 

If unbeknown to Deterte his close relative was a user-lets say his son or daughter to emphasise the point.

 

Then one of these anti drug vigilantes, without knowing who the user was, shoots and kills the son/daughter.  I do wonder if Deterte would understand the hurt he is causing the families left behind. Probably not.
