We may yet deliver this season who knows. You'll also find many posts by myself on here stating that the aspirations of football chairman with a pinch of salt. I'm sure it was...  ... but what I meant by 'not as good a day out as they originally thought' was that it may on reflection have been a bigger missed opportunity than anyone realised at the time.  One goal (or two anyway) away from promotion.  Will you get that close again?  Only time will tell... Â Of course it's a missed opportunity but who's to say we won't go up this season, United have more than proved that making a club promotion favourites as I assume Newcastle will be means absolutely nothing.
