Steel suppliers - mild steel round bars needed for plant supports

Does anyone know where in Sheffield I can get some decent sized mild steel bars to bend into plant supports for my garden. Seen Monty Don make some a few years back on gardeners world.

RMjonhs2, I know you were not asking about suitability, but may I ask what type of plants would you be wanting to support with the 6mm diameter steel rods? I am guessing that it is something that needs strong supports.

 

There was a guy in the Sheffield area growing banana plants, so I`m just curious.
