Luke_F Â Â 10 #34 Posted February 28, 2006 Hi, Â I've just been set the brief for my latest Architecture Assignment at Uni and the site is Vale Road - just below the carpark to the Ski Village, Parkwood Springs. I'm currently doing Site investigation and i was wondering if anyone could shed any light on the history of the area? Â Either from personal knowledge or a point in the direction of any good resources on the area would be greatly appreciated. Â Thanks in advance. retep   68 #35 Posted February 28, 2006 What do you want to know, the area just below the car park was the vicarage,to St Michael and All Angels. The place where the Ski village buildings are was Douglas Terrace built around 1880. The corner where you turn into the car park was the local chippy. The housing from the chippy corner to the bottom of the car park was terraced.
 Share this content via...
