Quik   10 #349 Posted July 1, 2016 We just have to clear out the blairites who will not play ball, replace them with proper socialists.... Then were good to go And also, if he is unelectable, then why is the Tory owned media, urging people to become a Labour Party member to vote against him,??? Please explain that one.. Yeah, Tories urging people to join labour.. Lol  If you replace the vast majority of your MPs with untried 'proper socialists' with no experience other than placard waving then you will end up with about 10 MPs next election. alchresearch   215 #350 Posted July 1, 2016 (edited) YouGov used to do a weekly survey of leader popularity, but they haven't done one since Easter:  https://yougov.co.uk/news/2016/04/08/camerons-ratings-now-lower-corbyns/  Although this is based on Corbyn:  https://yougov.co.uk/news/2016/06/30/labour-members-corbyn-post-brexit/  our most recent poll for the Times, carried out entirely after the Brexit vote last Thursday, shows that opinions are shifting fast - his net job approval is reduced to +3, down from +45 just last month. unbeliever   10 #352 Posted July 1, 2016 Isn't that the truth  A full on socialist party can't get anywhere near enough votes to form a government. You go right ahead and "fix" the Labour party. See what happens.
 Share this content via...

unbeliever   10 #354 Posted July 1, 2016 The SWP dosnt have enough members to fill the shadow cabinet. :hihi:  After the cleanup of the moderates, let's see what policies might e get. Top rate of tax to be 105% (extra 5% to punish people for trying to earn more than their fair share). Of course we'll have to collectivise the means of production: Farming, manufacturing, services etc. Zimbabwe-style. All to be funded with "peoples' QE" of course. How long I wonder before we declare war on Israel (using our unarmed trident subs), as when people are starving and inflation hits 1000% we'll need somebody to blame. Jeffrey Shaw   90 #357 Posted July 1, 2016 Possible outcome: Labour MPs either elect own Parliamentary leader but stay in the Party (or secede if the Party refuses to allow it). Mr Corbyn could continue to be the Party's Head- by some new description- if they stay, since the large lay membership insists. It's unclear why yet. My guess is, to secure a Corbyn re-election.  The Labour Party is dead.
 Share this content via...
