Tilly12   10 #1 Posted June 19, 2016 I've got a Vauxhall Astra club estate and I am having trouble getting it in to gear and the clutch peddle is floppy, but when engine is switched off it's fine    Thanks in advance
 Share this content via...
Revel   10 #2 Posted June 20, 2016 It sounds like it could be the master/slave cylinder. Is there any liquid/oil around the pedal or in the footwell?  Is your brake fluid topped up?  You don't need to use the clutch to change gear when the engine is off - that's why it works then.
