Caravans Middlewood tram park & ride

These caravans appeared apparently some time thurs evening 16th June, parked along back of carpark -are they gypsies ??

Hope to god not! Lock your sheds, garages, put your cctv on and anything garden ornaments or structures that they may nick for scrap put a away for a while!

 

Yes im stereotyping. However better safe than sorry and too many coincidences.

Some of the new ones are going on the existing network though to provide extra services aren't they?

Yes, however they are only cleared for passenger service as far as Shalesmoor, Meadowhall and Park Grange Road stops, it was discussed in another thread. So likely just to be used as extra Cathedral-Meadowhall shuttles once the timetable gets rejigged later this summer.

No, just the raising bar kind of barrier. The stocksbridge link bus has to be able to get in and out.
