Snowglobe   10 #20 Posted June 18, 2016 You have to put your HSBC card into the machine to use it.  The one at Meadowhall doesn't do that. You punch in the numbers of your sort code and account number
 Share this content via...
woah   10 #21 Posted June 18, 2016 I'll go and check. My card counts as a HSBC card for paying into the other machines.  You can use it - First Direct and M&S cards are valid too, I've used it with my FD one.
 Share this content via...
Vrsaljko   196 #22 Posted June 18, 2016 they charge you 9.9% in dumb man turn for every £1000 you put in it will charge you £99  I put £25 in coppers into one the other day. As I don't bank with HSBC, I'd rather them take 9.9% than me have to spend ages counting them into money bags to take to the bank! philyyy   10 #24 Posted June 21, 2016 I put £25 in coppers into one the other day. As I don't bank with HSBC, I'd rather them take 9.9% than me have to spend ages counting them into money bags to take to the bank!  I'm always amazed that anyone uses these, with them charging, but it seems laziness overcomes paying banks yet more money for doing nothing. Counting coins is theraputic too.
 Share this content via...
