satman2222 Â Â 10 #4 Posted August 13, 2016 Looks like they are working on the railway bridge. The roads been shut for 2 weeks now. No indication of when it will open again. No signs up with dates etc and nothing on Google. Pathetic.
 Share this content via...

MEC176 Â Â 10 #6 Posted August 13, 2016 (edited) it is going to be the place where they dump all the unwanted european lgislation!! Â Very good heavydog, but you are very wide of the mark, apparently Rail Track have cleared the area to lay a concrete ramp, heavy plant moved in and the old railway bridge was removed and a new one put in place it was all done the weekend before last they also replaced a railway bridge a bit further down the line the same weekend so the main line between Chapeltown and Wombwell was closed, the railway line is now open but Nether Lane is still closed. Chap BLADE Â Â 10 #9 Posted August 16, 2016 Every day is a school day! Never knew the road was called Nether Lane, always referred to it as Shardlows for some reason in my family. Â The fields and the building that is now the Meadow Farm pub were owned by the Sports and Social club for Ambrose Shardlows engineering. Â The first 1500 yds or so from the Common is actually called Nether Road then its Nether Lane up to Cowley lane
 Share this content via...
